Vintage Baseball Bat Reuben Wood's Sons Co 1896 antique ink trademark
Has nails or tacks in end of knob, no reason. Nail in handle with small screw, light crack, also a long line like knife scrape, I think for grip.
Slight difference in color from handle area to barrel, not sure why. Only reference I could find to this company was a catalogue with a lot of fishing after checking google. A great old bat, weighs 40 oz and is 34.25. One line of grain separation on top. Never seen this bat before.
