ON OFFER: A Hillerich & Bradsby (Louisville Slugger) 30" Little League Bat 30" stamped MANCHESTER YANKEES. The bat dates from 1969-71, when the Yankees had a team in the Double A Eastern League team located in Manchester, New Hampshire, seeking to capitalize on the parent teams rivalry with the Boston Red Sox, which had its AA team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island at that time. The bat has seen extensive use and is heavily worn. It may be the last of its kind in existence. History of the Manchester Yankees in the Eastern League (1969-71).
