Rare Vintage Jackie Robinson Baseball Comic Book

  

This issue particularly emphasizes Robinson's character, versatility as an athlete, his historical meeting with Branch Rickey, his leadership, and entrance into the minor and major leagues, etc. As to condition, the only missing pieces are small bits on the right-hand side of the cover, and there are small tears on this same side on some pages, plus tiny tears on the back cover. The binding is completely detached, but this would not be noticeable without special attention to that detail. Overall, this rare comic book should be coveted as a collectible.
