Makers' logo mark This "Makers" Spalding logo was first used in 1890. The inner baseball logo reads "SPALDING" with "TRADE" "MARK"above & below the stitching. The outer circle reads A. "At the top and "MAKERSat the bottom.

This logo appears on baseball bats along with the A. Spalding"(in script) and introduced as the Spalding "Autograph Model it was introduced in 1901 and produced until 1907. Middle Brand Reads:'AG Spalding & Bros. Spalding' script brand beside it. Barrel end may have been branded.. See close-ups too faint to see. & weighs: 2 lbs / 8 oz. Small, double V stress crack at Grip end. / backside (see close-ups) hardly noticeable. Bat is still strong & sturdy.
