Vintage Hanna Batrite Baseball Bat Beaver Driver Mel Ott

Offered for sale is this Vintage Hanna Batrite Beaver Driver Mel Ott Baseball Bat. This bat at one time was 35 Inches long but Someone sawed 2 Inches off the barrel end. It is now 33 inches long.

I suspect that it sat in a garage or Basement until the barrel end was dry rotted and then Someone sawed 2 inches off the end. That's just a guess. The handle was cracked and taped long ago and the knob has no chips off it. Kind of sad that the old bat is damaged-It may have been a Game used Model?
