Vintage Lou Almada, Cece Carlucci, Herm Reich Etc. Autographed Baseball Bats PCL
A pair of vintage Pacific Coast League autographed baseball bats, one is autographed by PCL legend Louie Almada and the other bat is autographed by 5 PCL greats including Herm Reich, Cece Carlucci, Charlie Silvera, Tom Munoz and Earl Robinson. The Louie Almada signed bat was autographed in black Sharpie when I visited him at his home in Carmel, California in the early 2000's. The multi signed bat was autographed in silver Sharpie at a Pacific Coast League reunion I attended in Oakland, California in the early 2000's. Played in the Pacific Coast League from 1928 to 1937 with the Hollywood Stars, Mission Reds and Seattle Indians and was one of the best players in the league during that time. He compiled a lifetime batting average of.
306 and had a legendary cannon arm in right field. Herm Reich played in the PCL from 1940-54 with the Portland Beavers, Sacramento Solons & Seattle Rainiers and had several big seasons. Played with the Portland Beavers in 1947-48 and won 6 world championships as Yogi Berra's back-up catcher with the Yankees. Cece Carlucci umpired in the PCL from 1950-61 and is a member of the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. Played with the Oakland Oaks from 1952-55. Earl Robinson played with the Dodgers and Orioles from 1958-64 and played for 2 years in the PCL with Salt Lake City and Spokane. Both bats are circa 1940's-50's. Both are 34 inches in length and appear to be uncracked. Higgins labeling and the other bat I can't make the labeling out. The bats have marks and wear but no major dents or gouges.
