Vintage Marathon 4359 Babe Ruth Special Semi-Pro 34in 27oz Baseball Bat

4359 wooden baseball bat marked. Special Semi-Pro Babe Ruth Model. The bat measures approximately 34 inches long and weighs approximately 27 ounces. It retains readable Marathon/Montgomery Ward center branding, model number 4359 and Babe Ruth Model markings. This is a vintage retail player-model bat bearing Babe Ruth's name. It is not represented as game-used, personally owned or hand-signed by Babe Ruth. The bat shows honest wear from age and use, including scattered scratches, scuffs, dark marks, finish wear and numerous small impact dents throughout the barrel. Several of the dents include shallow gouging or minor surface wood loss, and one side has a longer shallow compression or abrasion.

The rounded barrel end shows additional wear along with a narrow light-colored scrape or possible paint transfer. Despite the cosmetic wear, the bat remains solid, with no cracks or splits found anywhere on the bat.

Factory markings remain clear and display well.
