VTG 1992 Hubie Brooks AUTOGRAPHED Game BAT Angels "DiMag" ESTATE COLLECTION. Inscription reads: "To DiMag, a ll the b est ". 2× Silver Slugger Award (1985, 1986). Comes from the famous Carl "DiMag" DePhillipo collection. Carl DePhillipo was a long-time clubhouse attendant with the Cleveland Indians, Browns & California Angels Spring Training.
With The Indians he spent a lot of his time in the visiting clubhouse, thus making friendships & acquiring memorabilia from players all across Major League Baseball. He amassed a vast collection of sports memorabilia over 50 years, meeting & collecting autographs from hundreds of players & teams over his MLB career. His extensive collection includes thousands of balls, bats, photos, and jerseys. Mickey Mantle sat on this guy's couch, I mean it doesnt get much better than that when youre talking baseball lore.
