DUBOW SPORTING GOODS CHICAGO No. 1 5 RUTH STYLE 3 6 in. Baseball Bat in VERY GOOD CONDITION! My late father acquired his wonderful ball bat sometime during, or before his Honorable service in the U. Navy in World War II. Trying to research this DUBOW bat proved very difficult, there's not much online regarding it. I did find information that it possibly was made in the later 1930s. Also that the 36 in. Bat may have been made in limited productions and changed to a 35 in. Most probably someone reading this is much more knowledgeable than I about this creature, the facts I'm stating are the best to my knowledge.
I tried to get 12 of the best photos I possibly could with my android camera, and flash gave the best clear focus. The bat has NO CRACKS , SPLITS OR PIECES MISSING FROM IT , only bumps from hitting a ball and wear on the large end probably from leaning on the bat. Overall for being around 8 0 YEARS OLD it is in remarkable good condition. He also got during WWII.
