VTG 1970s BASEBALL STORE BAT RACK GOOD CONDITION Scarce Store Display 40 Bats

  

Here is another beautiful find from an old sporting goods storage room - a 1970s baseball bat rack store display stand. This piece stands 41.5 inches high and has a corner to corner diameter of 22.5 wide at its top. The stand weighs in at 9 pounds- heavy duty steel! It can hold up to 40 bats (two rows) and rotates on its axis. Finished in black with chromed, spinning topper, it does show aging / toning / light rusting. It can easily be refinished, but I liked the original patina and left it as is. These are so incredibly hard to find these days as most were thrown in the dumpsters years ago.
