Vintage Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 125 X Earle Brucker Baseball Bat

Dated from Louisville ID Markings to the 1934 to 1949 era of production. The bat was made for Earle Brucker Sr. Who caught 2 games for the Athletics in 1948. Was a rookie with the Athletics at the age of 36, and performed well enough be placed ahead of the other A's catcher, who was 11 years younger. This bat is in very good to excellent condition, most certainly is Northern White Ash, the grain is still very tight, with slight separation at the barrel opposite of the "Brucker" Stamping. A Hashtag or Tic Tac Toe grid has been carved into the knob with a "35" in the center , which refers to the Bat size, 35 inches. The bat has a weight of 34 &1/2 oz.
