AG Spalding & Bros Old Antique WAGON TONGUE Model No. 3/0 T Vintage Baseball Bat
Very RARE OLD Old vintage antique AG Spalding & Bros. WAGON TONGUE Baseball Bat circa 1900 -1910s Tongue Model no. 3/0 T stamped into the middle of the bat see several close up photos - Vintage Game Used Baseball Bat. Offered is a turn-of-the-century Spalding Wagon Tongue model baseball bat. This 34.5 inch bat is DOUBLE stamped with the Spalding logo, Wagon Tongue and NO 3/0 T on the middle of this antique barrel bat.
The wood has a beautiful overall finish and has a few factory burn marks as seen on the backside of the Circa old antique bar. The knob has very light chipping around its circumference as noted and photoed. This Vintage bat is part of the old baseball and America history - frat piece and a super addition to any sports collection. THE old vintage ball bats Wagon Tongue were used and made up until the late 19th century and were made from the old wagon tongues that had been previously used on covered wagons (a cool piece of history and baseball memorabilia).
The model number 3/0 T, Wagon Tongue baseball bat was one of the most popular line designed and crafted by A. Patent appld for along with the deep Wagon Tongue Stamping and MODLE 3/0 T Please see several close up photos to better assist in the description noted above. The handle is about 95% complete see close up photo and their is a hair line crack as noted and photoed under and near the old ring black handle tape (see photos attached). The barrel of the bar is complete and in beautiful shape - as you might imagine, the baby is heavy! The circa very old rare antique WAGON TONGUE clean grain and very heavy vintage base ball bat (see all photos - this BEAUT displays wonderfully) and would look sweet displayed in your office, sports room, or den and would be a great addition to any sports memorabilia collection and conversation piece.
