In Clinton, SC is listed. There was an earlier 1860's King Mountain Co. That owned 25,000 acres in the King Mountains, SC that did mining iron ore? Not sure if both companies are one and the same? This is one of the earlier bats made by a company that, apparently didn't have the popularity of Brownings H&B Bats, due to the lack of any information. The bat is 36" long and of a lighter weight with the centerbrand in Silver "KING MFG. The barrel has an oval with Official Major League in silver lettering inside.
