This great Bat is from the collection of my Dad. It was stored in the attic for years and wrapped back up each time. You will see on the bat that there are color differences on the handle of the bat. This is because each time we pulled it out of its original packaging, we'd not be as careful wrapping it, so air exposed the handle each time. We'd pull it out about every 7 or so years to take a look at it, but it caused the color to change slightly from air hitting it. We finally threw out the original packaging sometime in the early 1990's when doing an attic clean up (regretfully) and kept it leaning against our attic wall, where it suffered a few dents here and there, which you can see in the pictures.

I do however have other vintage bats for sale, including a 1920's TY Cobb Georgia Peach, so check out my other listings. 34-3/4" long x 2-1/2" wide at the end.

The handle end is 2" across and is stamped with "82C & it weighs 1Lb. The embossing in the middle of the bat reads: ADIRONDACK BATS, INC. Northern White Ash Adirondack 302 DOLGEVILLE, NEW YORK MADE IN U. The end of the bat embossing reads: "ADIRONDACK AARON TYPE FLAME TREATED".
