This vintage McLaughlin - Millard Northern Adirondack White Ash Number 232 Doerr Type Baseball Bat, Dolgeville New York. This bat was produced between 1946 and 1950 and may not have been authorized by Doerr, hence the inclusion of the word'Type'. Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr played 2nd base for the Boston Red Sox for 14 seasons, starting in 1937. A nine time all star, there is a photo of Doerr holding two bats, neither of which are this one. This bat has been played with, but not extensively. It still has a great finish. New and interesting items are added to the inventory on a (somewhat) regular basis.
