RARE VINTAGE 1960's Yankees MICKEY MANTLE Hartland Baseball Figure Bat & Shade
Original and rare PLAY BALL 1960's Mickey Mantle Hartland Plastics working lamp and original shade. Mickey Mantle is a 7 gold / copper statue with the original bat. Hallmark Hartland Plastics Inc is on Mantles right elbow. Everything with the lamp is original including the bat, shade and cord / plug.
There were about 100 of these made, and very few exist with all the original parts, let alone at this price! The 1 thick beveled wooden base bottom is 6 x 91/2 and the top is 5 1/4 x 8 ¾. The PLAY BALL brass plate 2 ½ x 5/8 is attached in the center of the wood base with small brass nails. The wire spring shade measures 12 long x 5 ½ wide x 7 7/8 in height.
The shade is a bit beat up with some indents to it, as you can see in the photos. There are no water stains evident. The bats and ball are attached to the shade.. The electrical cord is in excellent condition with no cuts or missing rubber. The total height of the lamp, including shade is about 17. Please contact me with any questions or offers.
