Taylor was one of the best outfielders to ever put on a Cardinal uniform and was the starting centerfielder for the first World Series Title Cardinals of 1926! Finding bats for this particular team are extremely tough to come across as few were created and even fewer survived. The ones that have are typically in collections and rarely made available to the public. This beauty has the rare Louisville "Mascot" branding and the unique "upside-down" signature which happened occasionally during this era. The bat has very strong stampings with a full Signature stamping which really pops with incredible eye appeal. The bat has tremendous use with Heavy Grain Checking from repeated contact with baseballs on the barrel. The knob has a chip in it as typical for bats of the era and the backside of the bat is missing a piece of wood which broke off from repeated use as typical on ash and hickory bats. These vintage bats from significant teams and players have continued to soar in demand and in value.
