Vintage 1960's HOF Mickey Mantle H&B 125LL Powerized 29 Rare Baseball Bat NYY. The bat is 29 inches in length. It's in pretty good condition. As shown in the pictures it does show indications of use.
Along the barrel are various scuff marks, ball marks, wear in the wood and a rather deep inscription in the wood (of Mickey Mantles autograph). Majority of this bat's wood has aged well, still has a great pattern (in the wood) running along each side of the bat. Further more, the little league inscription on the end of the bat is unique in nature, usually you only see the other style with the series of stars on each side of the words Little League... There is only one spot on the bat where the wood has a minor crease, which is displayed in the pictures.
Overall this is a rather scarce Mickey Mantle little league H&B 125LL Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Mickey Mantle was a center fielder who played strictly for the New York Yankees. Mantle was a 20x all-star, 7x world series champion, 4x AL home run leader, AL batting champion, received the Gold glove award & triple crown, had 536 home runs and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.
