Vintage 1960s Lot Of 2 HOF Roberto Clemente H&B 225LL Air Seasoned Baseball Bats. The bats are 31 and 32 inches in length. Both are in fair-good condition. As shown in the pictures they show indications of use. Along the end of each of there barrels there are some marks in the wood, some scuffs and ball markings.
The inscribed wording on each barrel is still visible. Further more the inscribed/burned in writing on the middle of each bat is in great condition. The 31 inch bat has a deeper inscription then the 32 inch bat. Both baseball bats are solid, no cracks (except for the knob on the 32 inch bat, which is displayed in the pictures).
These are post war baseball bats. Roberto Clemente was a right fielder who played strictly for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Clemente was a 15x all-star, 2x world series champion, 4x NL batting champion, received the Gold glove award on 12 different occasions and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973.
