Vintage 1990s Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat Craig Holman Game Used 35 Signed. Please Be sure to see the Larger photos, directly below the Description. Vintage Louisville Slugger Wood'Pro-Stock' Baseball Bat. Model C243, Pro Stock Bat. Bat was Game used by Craig Holman. Also signed by Holman, on backside barrel end. Craig Holman pitched in the Philadelphia Phillies system from 1991 to 1998.
He reached Triple A each year from 1996 to 1998, but never played in the majors. He was 6-2 with a 1.93 ERA at low-Class A in his first pro campaign, but never again had such success.
By 1993, he was 8-13 with a 3.96 ERA in the mid-minors, and in 1996 --in his first taste of Triple A-- he was 3-2 with a 5.89 ERA in 62 2/3 innings. On September 4, 1993, while with the Reading Phillies, he took part in a combined seven inning no-hitter against the New Britain Red Sox. He started the game and was replaced by Greg Brown. Overall, Holman was 39-34 with a 3.98 ERA in 208 games (83 starts). He later established Holman Baseball Academy, a baseball training camp. Grip Knob end was marked with number (14) (see close-up).
