Vintage 1999 Jimmy Rollins Pre-Rookie Phillies Game Used Baseball Bat. This is a bat that Jimmy Rollins used in his 1999 minor league season with the Reading Phillies.

The bat is actually one of his teammate's model bat, being a Cliff Politte St Louis Cardinals bat. Politte played with the St Louis Cardinals in 1998, before joining the Phillies in 1999. The ball exhibits great usage with several ball marks, and does have a significant crack. The best part is Jimmy's tape job and notations on the tape, knob and barrel end.

On the tape, Jimmy wrote Nothing But Hits. On the knob end, he wrote JRoll, Smooth, and Six Pack, with what appears to be a drawing of a six pack. On the barrel end, he wrote his #6 (which he wore in his Reading season), and JRoll and JSmooth. This bat was given to a friend of mine, who has seats behind the dugout with the Reading Phillies. It measures 33.5 inches long and weighs 31 ounces.
