Vintage Danny Litwhiler Instructional Bunting Bat Worth 75 Florida St Reds Mint

  

Litwhiler invented this bat while coaching the Florida St. Seminoles baseball team in the 1950's, it was used to encourage proper technique when bunting. Bat was obtained by us directly from the Litwhiler family and will come with an LOA from them(see LOA pictured below). Litwhiler played major league baseball for 12 seasons from 1940-51 with the Phillies, Cardinals, Braves & Reds.

He is credited with many great baseball inventions, this bunting bat being one of them.
