Jim bibby former pirates pitcher told me he wore his hat under his helmet and would remove the liner and donut to fit better with hat. Yankees switched from stencil helmets to this type in 1966 and that was boyers last year with the yanks so its from 1966. 7 in marker inside helmet for size.
