VTG 1970s Dick Williams AUTOGRAPHED BAT Joe Lahoud Game Issued Bat "DiMag" ESTATE. Dick Williams autographed bat, Joe Lahoud Louisville Slugger Game Issued Bat. Dick passed away in 2011. Inscription reads: To DiMag, a good friend. 2× World Series champion (1972, 1973). Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. San Diego Padres Hall of Fame. Comes from the famous Carl "DiMag" DePhillipo collection. Carl DePhillipo was a long-time clubhouse attendant with the Cleveland Indians, Browns & California Angels Spring Training. With The Indians he spent a lot of his time in the visiting clubhouse, thus making friendships & acquiring memorabilia from players all across Major League Baseball.
He amassed a vast collection of sports memorabilia over 50 years, meeting & collecting autographs from hundreds of players & teams over his MLB career. His extensive collection includes thousands of balls, bats, photos, and jerseys. Mickey Mantle sat on this guy's couch, I mean it doesnt get much better than that when youre talking baseball lore.
