Vtg Eddie Leishman Louisville Slugger Pacific Coast League Baseball Bat Yankees
I will be listing several baseball bats from a local estate. All are fresh to the market and have been safely stored away for 30+ years.
Up for sale is an original vintage Eddie Leishman Louisville Slugger "Hillerich & Bradsby" 125 wooden baseball bat dating from the 1940's or so. Eddie was a career PCL minor leaguer and worked for the New York Yankees in the late 1940's. He then worked in the PCL, was the GM for the San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals. The bat came from the estate of Eddie Leishman year ago. In nice condition for its age with some wear. Has a couple minor separation cracks, the edge of the knob appears to be grounded down on two sides and then has a small piece of the barrel that has chipped off. No repairs and displays well. 30 long and weighs 1 pound 10 ounces unpacked. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item. Rare bat and is a must for any collector.
